Town & Mayor Facebook Post Analysis.

The analysis compares Facebook posts from the Town of Aurora’s official page and Mayor Tom Mrakas’s two accounts to examine posting activity, content categories, and overlap. It classifies captions as town-related, election-related, or private; identifies when election and campaign content first appears; detects identical or similar captions within and across accounts; and measures posting frequency, shared-content percentages, and timing differences. It also checks for posts covering the same municipal announcement in different wording and presents the results in reports and annotated data files. The analysis is based on exported captions and timestamps, so it does not assess images or videos or establish authorship, staff involvement, spending, or compliance.
